Northwest Hills Youth and Family provides counseling services and conducts psycho-educational, socialization and support groups for youth and their families in Watertown, New Milford and the surrounding areas. We also develop and coordinate prevention and resiliency programs for youth within these communities. We are developing diversion programs in conjunction with local law enforcement to keep our youth out of the criminal justice system. The Youth & Family Service staff work together to provide a variety of individual, family and group services, which enhance communication, self-esteem, and positive decision-making in our communities youth and support a stronger family system.

Why us?

We are a not for profit 501 (c) 3 organization that is dedicated to providing trauma sensitive counseling and resources to the youth and families of Connecticut.

Our goal is to foster positive youth development and help our young people to socialize without today's technology. Our society is losing interpersonal communication and socialization skills. Our goal is to help bridge the gap for our youth and families between technological socialization (social media) and interpersonal socialization while fostering better communication in our families.

We currently offer in-home appointments in Litchfield, Hartford, New Haven and Fairfield counties with physical offices located in New Milford and Watertown.
